Hai Phong – Vicem – ‘Sand Painting’

In this TV commercial for Dentsu Alpha, Liquid Animation combined sand art and special effects to achieve a very unique style for Vicem in Vietnam. This ad is a branding piece for Vicem and the sand mirrors the company’s roots in the cement industry. The seamless flow between actual real-time drawing in the sand (minimal) and CG transitions (many) is achieved through effects work in post production.
